The Tiger Alliance unites dedicated and responsible tour operators from 5 countries, who specialize in premium, environmentally - conscious customised journeys. They are deeply committed to responsible travel, each creating high standards of authenticity with minimal impact on environment, cultures and communities in each of their countries.
The Tiger Alliance is being launched in the 'Year of Biodiversity.' Each of the organisations pledge to support tiger and snow leopard conservation (and related endangered species), and their habitats, in their respective countries. They will also create wildlife tours around the tiger and/or its habitat & communities that will demonstrate direct support to these and other magnificent species under threat.
"Tiger, Tiger, burning bright, in the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye could frame thy fearful symmetry?" ~ Rudyard Kipling
The five members of the Tiger Alliance hope to represent the living symbol of strength, power, and dynamism by pursuing responsible travel with vigour, passion and dedication. These Tigers unite to offer their personal experiences to the sustainable travel industry.
The five members of the Tiger Alliance are all leaders of responsible tourism in their countries, providing travel experiences that benefit local communities, and support cultural and environmental protection and preservation.
The result is - tours that explore the diversity of the regions and minimally impact the environment, achieving high client satisfaction. They are interactive, executed smoothly, respectful of local customs and traditions, and supportive of local economies. They support traditional arts and crafts, thus preserving cultural heritage.
The natural environment is of highest importance to the Tiger Alliance. Members support and collaborate with societies and Non Governmental Organisations/Non Profits that work toward sustainable local practices, and have pledged to support the Worldwide Fund for Nature in their respective countries.
Beyond sustainability on trips, these tour operators cultivate the same ethos and philosophy in their office colleagues, with integrity that enables the creation of responsible, bespoke trips.
